Joel had been training for a few years, doing a mixture of CrossFit and boxing, but he still wasn't getting the results he truly wanted.

When he came to us looking for a personal trainer, we looked at his training regime and nutrition in detail and suggested some tweaks to improve his performance, and we put a system in place that would provide the accountability & guidance he needed and keep him on track.

He didn’t spend hours in the gym (they weren’t even open). He didn’t follow some unrealistic training split. He didn’t cut out everything from his diet that he enjoyed. He didn’t even eat meat…

Getting healthy on tour

 

After returning from a first album world tour (and feeling the effects of the Rockstar lifestyle), Mike came to us saying “I just want to feel healthier”.

He'd heard that Reuben at GTF specialised in helping professional touring musicians to get in shape, and had been impressed with the results that a friend was getting with Reuben's help. He was ready for change.

Starting with a plan to get him back on track and ready for whatever the next tour could throw at him, Reuben has supported Mike through the difficulties of touring, even flying out during recordings to train and PT'ing the whole band on a European tour!

It's been a massive success. And Mike's even keen to do 8 rounds on the pads after a show these days and run marathons for fun. #TotalLifestyleTransformation
